This feed contains all the nutrients laying chickens need to produce yummy eggs with vivid orange yolks. Our 19% Layer Feed is optimal for chickens don't have access to other protein sources. The higher protein allows the chickens to handle heat or moving stresses easier. All of our feed is GMO-free, chemical-free, soy-free, corn-free and fish-free. We pelletize our feed  for two reasons. Chickens are messy eaters and will not eat mash that they knock out of the feeder. Chickens can also be picky eaters. With a whole-grain ration, they tend to pick through the feed, only eating what they like and avoiding the healthy, less-tasty bits.
