- Chicks will eat approximately 1/8 pound of feed per day.
- Broiler or meat chicks can be given chick starter until they are about 4 weeks old. They can then be switched to grower feed.
- Layer or egg chicks can be given chick starter until they are about 8 weeks old. They can then be switched to grower feed.
